What is Root Canal Treatment?

The pulp is the soft tissue inside the tooth that contains nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue. When the pulp becomes infected or damaged due to decay, cracks, or injury, it can cause severe pain and lead to further complications if left untreated.

Root canal treatment is necessary when the pulp inside the tooth becomes infected or inflamed. Common reasons for needing a root canal include:
